Developing your purpose in God
Acts 13:36
5 things if we don't understand our purpose of life in God
1. Life seems meaningless
Ecclesiastes 1:1-3
Seems as if everything that u do is meaningless, thus feeling no point in doing it, no motivation in life.
Egs. Finding a job is so hard, why should i waste my time going out? Might as well slack at home.
2. Life seems tiresome
Ecclesiastes 1:4-8
The same routine, cycle, boring.
Feel as if no matter how much we do we will never be satisfied, not enough
Egs. For students; wake up, go skool study, go home, study, slp, den wake up again etc etc
3. Life seems unfulfilling
Ecclesiastes 1:8-10
Seems everything that we do, nothing new comes out of it. The same old boring thing. Because of this we get restless about life.
Egs. You found a new method of doing things better, then u realise that that method was so traditional long time ago.
4. Life seems insignificant
Ecclesiastes 1:11
Whatever things that we do, seems unessential. Nobody remembers the things that u do.
Egs. Nobody knows the amount that im tithing for or offering, why should i care?
5. Life seems uncontrollable
Ecclesiastes 1:12-15
Meaningless, or seemingly powerless to do anything. What's gone is gone, unretrievable. Certain things which have come to pass, it has passed, "impossible" to change the circumstances.
Egs. The death of a loved one, but u are powerless to change the fact that he/she has passed away.

The purpose of life
Life on earth, is preparation for us to enter into the eternal realm with God. Ecclesiastes 3:11
Everything we do now bear eternal consequences. Proverbs 29:18
Without vision, people perish. Acts 2:17-18
Visions, Dreams, Prophesy
How do we prepare for eternity?
1. Develop faith in Jesus Christ
Hebrews 11:6
How to develop faith?
-> Hearing the word
Romans 10:17
->Praying in the holy spirit
Jude 20
->The right association
The right environment u dwell in to develop your faith. The right company of friends that u hang out with to develop your faith.

2. Share the gospel with the lost

3. Using your talent to serve in ministries
Two things u take to heaven
1. Character
2. Skills
Give your treasure in view of eternity. By giving, we are storing up our teasure in heaven so that we may experience true life in future with God, in eternity.
