seek God first and all things shall be added to you.

tomorrow will worry about itself,
dont worry about tomorrow.

the antidote to worry is PRIORITY
God is saying "put Me first and I will come along and help you"

They put God's house first, and God began to flow in them.

Jesus is still building His church, City Harvest Church and all the other churches
we have to be on the building side, we have to build God's house.

(to reach the highest purpose
success comes from doing the basics really really well.
we dont always need to learn new things,
but we need to revise on the old things and polish them up well.)

1) Pray
1 Timothy 2:1-4
"Urge them first of all..."
something powerful/supernatural/dynamic will happen when you pray.
eg. Joseph needed help,
It was by the prayer that brought the victory to him.

2) Worship
24/7 we worship
Hebrews 10:24-25
gather on a regular basis to worship God and pray together.
eg. Mark Conner went to a city,
he prayed for the meeting that they will be performing for,
was excited because he was going to play the keyboard,
in the end, the meeting was very bad.
but in another city, they dint even have time to pray and practice,
but what happened was that,
the meeting exploded, was very super good.
People were responsive and people came expected.

eg. Spectators in Russia are excited, responsive,
when it comes to soccer matches,
they will not want the soccer matches to end,
and will not complain about the overtime and everything,
and thats the attitude that we should have also.

3) Love
1 Peter 4:8-9
Love covers a mulitude of sins.
Church ≠ somewhere you go to
Church = somewhere you are part of
build a culture of caring

eg. a man was looking for a church,
he has been spending 18 sundays in 18 different churches,
he started a point system for the churches he went to,
so he could decide which church he wants to go in the end,
11 churches got 100 points
5 churches got 20 points
in one church that he went to,
he was invited for a meal by a couple, and he was touched.
he decided to stay in the church because
he wants to stay in a church of love.
size of church ≠ friendliness of church

4) Protect unity of the church
Ephesians 4:3
with unity = stand
without unity = fall
be someone who guards the unity
stop gossips and rumours.

5) Serving
Discover, develop, deploy
1 Peter 4:10-11
break the self-orientation of your life
serve Him. making contribution to the church.
giving and receiving
get out of the huddle and get to it.

6) Give
Proverbs 3:9
"paradigm shift"
way you think about the different things

7) Reach Out
we have been called, we have a calling.
sometimes you are the first link, last link, middle link,
but you will never be the missing link.

2 Cor. giving is a lifestyle

in school, excel in knowledge and love.

5 Benefits of giving
1) Giving makes me more like God
John 3:16
you cannot love with giving,
you can give without loving.
Christian = most giving people on the earth
we are the light and salt of the earth

2) Giving draws me more closer to God
Matthew 6:21
your money represent your life
where you put your money, there your priority is.
if your money is in the House of God, there your heart is.

3) Giving is the cure for materialism
Phil 6
dont be arrogant.
put your hope in God.
God wants us to enjoy ourselves and to be prosperous.

4) Giving strengthens my faith
Proverbs 3:5-9 (tithing)
Mal 3:10
Giving should be a lifestyle
start tithing if you havent do that.
tithing = representation of your heart
firstfruits must be given to God.
Luke 6:38
when you tithe, blessings will run after you.

5) Giving prosper me in turn

now works as the vice-president of a company.
