HOW TO BE A PERSON OF INFLUENCE?

Jeremiah 2:21
You are a seed of tremendous quality,
planted by God to be a blessing to the society,
but something went wrong.

God has desire everything in life to have maximum productivity.
eg. How tall can a tree grow?
Ans: as tall as it can be.

Take a first step of faith and you will find out the result.
Acts 1:8
Holy Spirit comes to empower you.
After salvation comes empowerment.
God is a God who wants to empower us.
In the beginning, God gave us authority to subdue the birds and seas.

Mark 6:48
God's objective was to check if they will use the opportunity to grow and develop.
God uses all ways to help to us develop. {personal development}
Romans 8
We are called to develop ourselves.
Rise over the problems.

Luke 5:24-25
Jesus says "you take up your old bed yourself."
Jesus says "you go and solve your problems yourself,
take authority of what you have problems with."
After you have succeeded, go back ot your old house and help other people. {Empowerment}
Go to where you have been a failure.
eg. Failure in studies
Go back and study.
Conquer your studies fear.

Gos wants you to do what you can do,
then He will empower you to do what you can't do.
Joshua 1:8
Unless you believe that you are a person of influence,
you will never develop and leave your potential undeveloped and uncultivated.
Proverbs 13:23
When there is wrong policy, the Bible says there is wastage.
Divine empowerment is based upon my acceptance of responsibility, for what God has called me to do.

Are you willing to be responsible?
Answer "Yes" and empowerment will come from God to help you to succeed.
Ask God to help and empower you and He will do it.

How to be a person of Influence?
if you can influence people, you can influence the society.
No matter who you are, you have problems.
God has the solution and He works with the church which is His people.
The moment you have decided to take responsibility,
Gos will give you empowerment.
Be WILLING to take up responsibility.
Stretch yourself to be a person of influence.
Each step of your way, you want to take responsibility and you will rise up.

God will set you up.
You no need to make opportunity or yourself.

Joseph have to mkake a decision to stand before Pharaoh.

When you have the wisdom of God,
you can gain the favour of God,
then become a person of influence.

God creates a need in the society, and He empowersthe church to bring the solution, thereby making the church necessary.
Believe that you can be a person of influence.
Be willing to step out of faith to take responsibilty.
Believe that God can empower you.
As your thinking changes, you breakthrough.

eg. Pst Tan's story
He was not top in class, normal boy,
because of a nice teacher, got interested in Maths,
got good score, top the class,
that year He ended up topping the class.

Take laziness, doubts, unbelief, depression away.
Build faith, dont build anything else.
Make your decisions at the crossroads.
